Beginning her music career as a DJ in 1999, Dj Pnutz soon began creating original music. "The Good Wifes Guide to Beatmaking" spent over 20 weeks on the college radio charts and was featured in Mixmag. Dj Pnutz was nominated by the San Diego Music Awards in the Hip Hop category in 2017, 2018, 2020, and also produced "Treel Tales of Number Running" which won the SDMA for Best Hip Hop album 2015.
